Decree on the Establishment of Information and Complaints Management in the German-speaking Community
The Ombudsperson welcomes the adoption on 21 February 2022 of the decree establishing information and complaints management in the German-speaking Community. This decree specifies the obligations of the authorities and institutions with regard to their information policy and the handling of complaints. A contact point will also be created in the near future where every citizen can find out how and where to submit his or her complaint. If necessary, the person will be helped to formulate the complaint. All this strengthens the rights of citizens. Better information creates more clarity and thus less conflict. Complaint management is an integral part of quality management and creates more satisfaction among citizens. Good news for the citizens of the German-speaking Community!
